The following is a list of accommodation available in Tenterfield over the Easter long weekend that we have reserved rooms for the event. Most within 2km of GZ. There are other places available including B & B’s, Home stays and Boutique Farm stays, which you can find online.
We have reserved over 100 rooms at the following motels for the main part of the event, from check in Thursday 2nd April 2026 and checking out Tuesday 7th April 2026 (5 nights). Most motels will also have rooms available prior to and after these dates for those wanting to stay longer.
To book, simply contact the motel of your choice direct (more information about each motel can be found online) and let them know what dates you require. You don’t need to book all 5 nights we have reserved just the nights you require. Prices listed below are a guide and vary depending on number of nights and people per room.
When booking please mention that you are booking for the Geocaching event so they can release a reserved room, and you receive any deal we may have with that motel.

For those looking at camping we have booked out the entire Tenterfield Show Grounds (which is also GZ) with over 100 powered and unpowered sites and multiple amenity blocks. We will be handling the bookings for the showgrounds during the event, please contact us regarding your requirements. There are also 2 other caravan parks in Tenterfield. As this event coincides with the Tenterfield Autumn Festival it has been decided to have all camping booked directly with the showground caretaker rather than direct with the Tenterfield Event Committee as many people want to book a longer stay and this would have involved people having to make two separate bookings.
The showgrounds are GZ for this event & people booking for this event will be accommodated close to the pavilions that we are using as ground zero rather than the regular camping area where people coming for the Autum Festival will be. There are separate amenity blocks by the pavilions.
longer stays may attract a discount on these rates and this will be determined by the caretakers. There are over 100 sites reserved for the Tenterfield event from the Thursday 2nd April to Tuesday 7th April. but due to a caravan group visiting Tenterfield. you must vacate the premises by the 8h of April (Wednesday) max stay allowed is 10 days. there are 3 other caravan parks in town you are able to move to if needed.
