Welcome to the official website for the Teneterfield event.

The Teneterfield event is an event which is being held over 4 days during Easter 2026.
There will be lots of different geocaches to find over the easter long weekend like the Tenterfield geoarts, the puzzle caches during the event, powertrails, caches placed exclusively for the event, geotrails etc. Along with many unique events from an all ages geocaching themed easter egg hunt where you can find not only Easter chocolates but geocaches containers, geocoins and many more.

never done before at a geocaching event, the geocaching on a historical train tour


never done before with a geocaching event, is the geocaching on an historical diesel train. this train will leave on a historical journey from stanthorpe to Ballandean. stopping 3 times to allow geocachers to open the app and solve the adventure lab, but we didn't make this easy for you, the adventure lab is not multi choice meaning you will have to rely on your knowledge to get the answers solved. there will be a special prize for the ones who can complete all 5 stages once we get to Ballandean. we stop in Ballandean for over 15 min allowing yourselves to get a drink at the local pub and explore the area. there will also be a unique and quite difficult geocache for you to find at the Ballandean station. because what do geocaches want ,oh thats right to find a geocache. why is this geocache so difficult I might add? because with 120 other geocachers looking at (that's how many spots we have on the train). it won't take long till someone finds the cache. once we have had our little adventure in Ballandean and we have boarded the Tain. we will award the winners of the ad lab trivia, and a cheat sheet will be given out to everyone else to allow you to be able to complete the adventure lab. during the train trip there will also be mini games going on as you enjoy this unique never done before historical train trip.

Tenterfield is a small town located in NSW just 15min away from the Queensland boarder, and 3 hours away from the Gold Cost. Tenterfield is home the NSW Quoll headquarters where they do exclusive Quoll tours and the Tenterfield event happens to be partnering up with then on this event, including exclusive the Tenterfield event quoll tours. with rich history like the Tenterfield saddler and history of the local singer peter Allen who group up here in Tenterfield the rich history of Tenterfield means you will have plenty to explore with many old buildings dating back to the 1800s. the Tenterfield Railway museum is quite the place to visit with old carriages you can board and miniature models plus more. Tenterfiled is also home to the annual Autumn Festival held over Easter, this year the Tenterfiled event is collaborating with the Autumn festival giving you room to also participate in those events too, or you can just go sightseeing and geocaching but don't worry you will have plenty of time for that sort of thing.
